The Libra and Crow

I cut this crow out of wood quite a while ago, and it I never came up with a unique way to incorporate it into my work. While reading up on the constellations, I discovered that Crows are very symbolic for Libras. I sat down and painted a beautiful dark night sky and dotted it with the stars that make up the Libra constellation.

This one-of-a-kind, wooden art is cut on my scroll saw from natural hardwood, and illustrated with mix of ink, gouache, and watercolor.
This piece is protected by a UV-resistant, spray finish. It has a metal chain attached to the back for easy wall display.

It measures (in inches): 4 1/2 wide, 4 3/4 tall, and 1/4 deep. Total hanging height is 6 inches.
