To whom the skull belonged, the curious ghost would never know, as it perched upon a recent sacrifice, collecting a bit of snow. This wasn’t the first time the ghost stumbled upon bones, since the rituals had begun, it only wished the humans would clean up after themselves, after they were done.
This is an original illustration inspired by the #AuGhost prompt list for August 2023.
The artwork is protected by a rigid board in an acid-free sleeve and is accompanied by a print of the corresponding poem shown above.
